Colie Dooley
Chief Executive Officer/Founder

Designer, builder and developer, Colie L. Dooley, Jr. is driven by passion and purpose. He entered the Real Estate profession in 1974 as a sales person. In 1977, he acquired his Broker’s License and opened his first Real estate Company. He then obtained his GRI at the University of North Carolina Chapel Hill to be the top in Real Estate knowledge. Having set his goals on becoming one of the most knowledgeable realtors, he wanted to incorporate not only sales, but successful subdivisions in Wilmington, NC. which earned him the reputation as a “niche” builder.

After seeing years of rising utility and construction costs producing unaffordable homes, he decided to do something about the problem. Dooley researched for 3+ years and is still researching every day. Colie Dooley learned his most valuable lessons in his later years as a modular home builder. The idea was great; however, the problem with building modular homes was even greater. With his experience and knowledge, starting in 2005, Colie developed the Green Hybrid Habitats (GHH) concept; a Pre-Fabulous, high performance flood and storm proof home. Green Hybrid Habitats is in the process of building 4 flood and storm proof model homes in Little River, SC.

A wonderful relationship that began at River of Life Baptist Church in Sunset Beach, N.C. where the theme verse is Psalm 84: 11, ‘For the Lord God is a sun and shield, the Lord gives grace and glory, he does not withhold the good from those that walk with integrity.’ We believe that church is not somewhere you go, but rather church is the body of Christ that sacrificially serves others in the name of Jesus. Our motto is ‘Don’t just go to church, be the church.

Under the skillful and humble leadership of President Alicia Zimmerman and CEO Colie Dooley, a Pay It Forward Program has been established to assist local ministries. Twenty percent of GHH net profit will be donated to organizations and ministries to prosper the beautiful name of Jesus. Managing GHH’s Pay It Forward Program is a task that Pastor Tom is excited to lead.

In Luke 8, the seed is the Word of God that bears much fruit. GHH believes that as a Christian born company, we will bear much fruit in the name of Jesus. By utilizing twenty percent of the net profits, we plan on sowing many seeds with various organizations for the Glory of God.
